The crest to the left is the ceremonial symbol of the committee.  SELC is not just a committee with members, it is a society with a culture of its own.

This culture fosters "Trust" denoted by the handshake, "Wisdom" denoted by the star, "Commitment" illustrated through the use of the scorpion and finally, "Future" realized through the eye.

Trust, Wisdom, Commitment and Future are the qualities of the finest business has to offer.  This rooted in a Franciscan value system molds and shapes individuals with the four qualities enabling them to be highly qualified leaders in today's society.

Once a member, always a member.  SELC is a close knit community that is poised to last a lifetime.

The Siena Executive Leadership Committee (SELC) is a School of Business formal committee.  We are made up of Siena School of Business students with a zest for the business culture and a drive to move forward, we bring out the best in college business.

Mission Statement: "To enrich the perspectives of the Siena College community as well as society at large through the presentation and discussion of executive leadership.  We enhance education through the exchange of knowledge united with past experiences, further augmenting one's intellect."

SELC's mission statement is designed in such a way to directly augment the current Siena School of Business mission statement.

Currently SELC operates based on a charter housed in the School of Business.  Our committee is a self-governing body.
